I see what your saying but those days are gone. A players loyalty is bought these days. And in this case I believe both he and Moyes made mistakes that they both regretted.
Hopefully the days of not seeing the value of our players are over.

Him and a replacement have been sorely missed these last few seasons. Moyes failed by not bringing in his future replacement at the time his age was beginning to catch up with him. Getting a player of his ilk is a current must and has been for the last few years. Desperately need a creative player with his capabilities.
