Had a real work ethic too, not just a fancy Dan but got back and covered well. With comfortably the best first touch, vision and natural talent in his time here.
Brilliant player

The way I remember it, he wanted parity with Arteta - and rightly so. The way I see it, him leaving was down to Moyes. And even he realised his mistake letting him go.How exactly did harry take him??? It generally needs a player to accept an offer to move...bottom line left for money, nothing else
No matter what spin people put on it.... no loyalty to the club, left a fantastic partnership for more money leaving a club, manager abd team that resurrected his career. Sorry he is gone but.....The way I remember it, he wanted parity with Arteta - and rightly so. The way I see it, him leaving was down to Moyes. And even he realised his mistake letting him go.
Great player.
I see what your saying but those days are gone. A players loyalty is bought these days. And in this case I believe both he and Moyes made mistakes that they both regretted. No matter what spin people put on it.... no loyalty to the club, left a fantastic partnership for more money leaving a club, manager abd team that resurrected his career. Moyes fault!! He left over 3 yrs ago ffs.Him and a replacement have been sorely missed these last few seasons. Moyes failed by not bringing in his future replacement at the time his age was beginning to catch up with him. Getting a player of his ilk is a current must and has been for the last few years. Desperately need a creative player with his capabilities.
