The only decent thing I can think of which Billy Liar has done is employ Moyes, that's it. He knows that Moyes is working wonders on the pitch therefore glossing over all the [Poor language removed] that he's put this club through. Imagine if he'd chosen someone else to take charge and we were still relagation fodder. THEN I think his antics would've been exposed earlier cos let's face it, if the team(under the guidance of Moyes) had'nt had performed so well over the last 4/5 seasons he'd've been found out by all by now not just the seemingly minority I still try not to engage in conversation/argue with bellends that still think he's great 'cos he's a proper Blue' and think DK is the answer to all our prayers

I think you'll find that it those "bellends" who are avoiding conversing with you, you bad weird meff.

Thing is it it bleaker? Financially we manage our debt and improve the team. Were just don't have the resources to commercially improve the club via a world wide fanbase.

That's why United have done so well, they struck at the right time and made all the right moves. We never, but that's not to say we are not improving as a club, because I would say we are.
You have to hand it to united..think back to the summer of 1989 and the tosser doing the ball juggling who wanted to be chairman (cant think of his name),he didnt of course becuase he didnt have the cash, but if i recall rightly he did set them on the way towards the goal of marketing the club in the way they do now,its no longer football club but a brand.

We all sat back and watched them yet no one else followed suit hell they where mocked by some of the press for doing it yet here we are 20 years on and they are a massive club farily well run and are leagues ahead of the rest of the premiership.

Take Everton at that time big club back then, big hitter we where indeed but that summer for me at least saw the start of our gradual decline that festered away at the club for many years indeed till DM came a long and started to turn things round, thinking back to those terrible years of stagnation i just dont want all of this hard work that DM and the team has done to repeat itself.

20 years ago we where in a posistion of power and yet we were pulled down into the mire by lack of cash and i just dont want the same thing to happen again this time,i dont care who's chairman tbh they should shut the hell up and find investement for the club something that didnt happen back then and something if we're not careful could very well happen again.

Lessons can and should be learned from history.

Michael Knighton - he was actually on Everton's books as a youngster!
Bought Carlisle instead of ManU!

Kenwright is a utter CUUNT!!!!!!!

Dont care what the ken-lovers say. If your happy he's incharge of this club, then your head must be firmly up your arse.

I thank him for what he done in the past, but for the last 4 years he's slowley killing us....

Please for our sake Mr Kenwright Will you sell up an go.

Somethings terribly wrong at this club Sharpy. I dont know what it is so I cant put my finger on it because Everton are so secretive. The board is run like the ****** masons and they're in it for what they can take. All off them. The club isnt in they're best interests, money is. Am like you mate and Kenwright needs to **** off out of it. Same old story with him again and again. We've got no money. We made a profit last year and we've spent nothing in the transfer window. TV rights, season ticket sales plus money for finishing 5th again and so on and all we've spent is the money off Lescotts transfer. Its seems Kenwright never gave up acting so he should go back to coronation street were he obviously belongs. Even clubs like Hull have more money to spend than us. This knobhead has to go before we sink and dissapear forever.

I´ve got to back Kenwright and Ghost here. You see what? Look at some other clubs then. Our neighbors across the park? The american billionaires, yeah right that one worked out good. Man U? The supporters started a new club. Newcastle. do i need to say more? Want more? Pompey´s Baydamak. that one worket out well. fulham and the intentions on Al fayed? remember what HE said? Top 4 - hmmm. Southampton? PL just a few years ago, Leeds in CL semifinal, where are they now? Overspending in players with too high wage, too bad players. I can go on. Kenwright lies? sure he had said some stupid things. But so has some others as well.

IF we make a profit - keep it to that. Work slow but steady. Look what we have achieved during the last years. I do believe in healthy business and not magic, and that is what you are looking for, magic. But if you want it, go to Las Vegas, Siegfried and Roy is having a show over there.

You act and talk like a bunch of kids still in highschool still living at mum´s place, where everything is for free. But realize, you cant both eat and have the pastrie.

Id add West Ham and Liverpool to that list as well - everyone assumes that City are getting cash gifts from their owner too lets wait and see when their accounts are released - could be doing an Abromovich and Learner and just puting debt on to the clubs books.

The Everton board have never had it so good - they're going nowhere. They're all making money, so why on earth would they sell up ?
They'll still be here long after Moyes departs.

What has that to do with anything. This is about Everton who the hell cares about the other clubs. Ghost is really just being a bit of an A***. The club or the shares are only worth what a potential buyer is willing to pay.

The current shareholders do not have the clout to put more money into the club so investment as BK puts it can only come about from a takeover with the buyer putting money into the club after buying the shares. The other way would be for the current shareholders to have a non voting rights issue of shares.

With no investment the club to service the debt, meet overheads, buy players has to do so from TV money, Gate receipts, Merchandising and selling players. That is the point Ghost when you say you do not want a takeover, well there will be a limit to how long we can continue to operate like that.

It hasnt really got anything to do with anything, I was bored so thought I would post some numbers.

As you can see, not ALL takeovers are the evil they are meant to be.

A lot of teams tried using crap managers spending a lot of money to try and buy sme success

We're in a much better position, and have Moyes. We'd be fine(y)

Chelsea = Done well . Long term set .
Aston Villa = Done well . Long term set .
Manchester United = Done well .Long term set .
Manchester City = Done well . Long term set .
Tottenham Hotspur Done well .Long term set

These clubs spend significantly year in year out except some this time around BUT given the dire financial situation around the world this isnt suprising nor should it reflect badly on any of the boards concerned .

Everton meanwhile again operate at a profit with added European money thrown into the mix . Again we are told by the one person that is at pains to have you believe he is doing all he can that there is money to strengthen the squad . But yet again we have sell to buy . This after supposedly telling Moyes himself he would be supplied with cash flow . This is unforgiveable .

Some may be happy that we are being run in this manner . Run by a bonafide liar who is happy to take money from the club to fund the stadium move at the expense of building the very thing thats most dear to every supporters hearts ....the team . You might be happy being lied too and constantly disapointed but we are not . People are starting to get the point were a demo might be the only way . It will kick off bigtime if this stadium move is forced through .
