Like ive said im not condoning what happened last night but i understand why people are angry.

The 'angry' people smashing the mosque and setting fire to cars were not local people. They had no right to be angry.

They’ve gone into a community where families are grieving and have targeted a mosque … why? How is that in any way helpful ? Last night should have been a peaceful coming together of the community and reassuring the children in the area. The kids there, moving from the terror and heartbreak of the incident into what looked like a warzone shows that those involved don't care about the children, its as always, all about them. Hopefully the healing isn't hijacked again.

That last night was not the reaction of a community.

The true reaction if the immediate (and wider) community is one of sorrow, grief and solemn respect - whilst waiting for further information to be released.

What we saw last night was blatant opportunism and the weaponisation of a tragedy in order to further a right wing agenda, the knuckledraggers actions were further backed up by a load of coked up idiots wanting a laugh and a scrap.
