The far right are a stain on this country. What a disgusting thing to do to a mourning community: the families don't want this.

It's not justice, it's mob rule driven by online agitators based on prejudice...

Some Czech media outlets will use the tragedy to further fuel a political agenda which is anti-Muslim on the face of it, but actually feeds an anti-EU, anti-Ukraine agenda.

Anyone, from whatever platform size and audience reach that hears of a senseless and terrifying attack on small girls and thinks of their agenda first is worse than scum.

I saw a picture of one of the victims on this thread a moment ago, it breaks my heart and I can't imagine the pain for that family.

I'm going to take a moment to tell my own girls how much I love them.

Agree, but look at social media and the last 30 pages on here its all about the reaction of a community.

Its minor in the grand scheme of things.

Like ive said im not condoning what happened last night but i understand why people are angry.
I don't think it is minor to be honest. Especially with the Southend stuff last night too. Times are grim right now.

Of course I get people being angry, the problem is that they seem to be angry at the wrong thing. It's how events work though, the latest thing gets the most attention more often than not, especially is there is nothing else to be said about the murders at this point.

Above all though the biggest issue I have with all of last night is that a community is grieving right now, it must be horrific for them and the last thing they need is misguided riots on the streets where they live. That community is the important one right now.

Clearly too many Welsh people crossing into England for her liking

I don’t get it either. Why are people still thinking ethnicity may have some kind of relevance when it’s already been confirmed that the perpetrator was a ginger Welsh lad from the valleys?

This 17 year old, Letby and other examples provided by others, just shows sometimes these evil people are hiding in plain site, planning and acting out awful things. There will never be any way of stopping people like this from doing what they do. There is no point trying to make sense of it, amd how do you even go about preventing it, some people just aren't normal.

The punishments have to be harsher as a starter, there has to be a brutality in the consequences, that deters others from doing it.

These poor families and first responders, should never get those calls.

This world seems to be getting worse daily, criminality at all levels, barbarism against all people everywhere. Kids shouldn't be killed anywhere.

A harsher punishment won't change anything. If someone is going to perform such acts then they are going to do it regardless. It's not like a deterrent for theft or something as straightforward. A person with a murderer's mindset is not going to give a second thought about the punishment.

It's not minor though is it. When you live in Southport it's horrible to see. My mate lives down that road and his poor kid says to him that he doesn't want to die when the thugs are throwing more petrol on the fire right outside his door. It's disgusting and a disgrace.
