More concerned about the reaction to an action.

Everyone going on about the anger on the streets more than the perpetrator in all this.
A 'kin guy has just murdered kids and seriously hurt adults and the outrage is about locals throwing stones at police or burning police vans! Quite frankly i dont give a toss about that, until the government/Police start protecting us from such atrocities then expect the same.

Im not saying what happened in Southport last was right, but the issue is to find out how and why a guy with these capabilities to cause carnage is allowed to walk the streets.

All im reading is these "racists nobheads" rioting

Is no one questioning whether the brutal murder of kids was not a racist attack??
What was his motive?
Does he have mental health issues?
Did the authorities know about him?
Was he not known to the police or was it an attack out of rage?

I suggest you stop being a prick and listen to the real locals who suffered rather than gobshites who turned up with crates looking to cause trouble.

If you read my posts properly, you will read that im focusing on how and why this happened! Not some idiot turning up at a vigil with crate of cider!

These scumbags have knocked a wall down

• A 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons because of his age, remains in custody accused of murder and attempted murder. The only details released about the suspect by police are that he is a 17-year-old from the village of Banks in Lancashire, who was born in Cardiff.

Both should be addressed and dealt with appropriately

They’ve got the lad in custody and are dealing with that

Zero harm is caused by policing the aftermath of the riot properly, nor from it being discussed about or reported on

An outside group, made up of people from outside the area, coming in and ruining a peaceful protest for their own political gain, is kind of an important thing that should be discussed and reported on I think

Especially as a member of one of the victim's families has spoken out against the rioting

Talking about the riots and how appalling they are doesn't mean that any ire you feel for the attacks themselves is automatically lessened

I'm so sick of everything on the internet having to be a binary choice where we can only talk about or focus on one thing or the other, and it being positioned that if you aren't talking about one thing at that EXACT moment then you supposedly don't care about it

It's so f'ing stupid
