I mean, that's spectacularly underperforming policing.

As I said earlier, the new government are sending out the wrong message over custodial sentences by releasing so many people. This lot will look at that and think: "sound, this gives me license to cause murder because they wont lock me up".

We need Robinson plus hundreds of his vermin foot soldiers off the streets and in the bin.

As I've also argued though: ultimately it wont fall to the police to see off the far right. That'll take thousands of trade unionists and ANTIFA left wing groups to mobilise to strong arm them off the streets...because the state is backing off from doing their duty.

I think it's more that the extreme minority of both 'sides' for want of a better word, are becoming louder and more aggressive.

Just remember - the vast majority of people moving to this country are good people who want to contribute given the chance and the vast majority of UK nationals don't have the issues that the extremists hold.

To what level should immigration be reduced to? Will things then suddenly calm down?

Immigration has always existed and will do for all eternity.
