Snow, how bad is it where you are?

Tiny bit of snow this morning, didn't stick though but thats enough for the schools in Jersey to be called off.
I swear the island goes mental at the sight of snow, its ridiculous.

Spent an hour or two with some butch men clearing a lane leading to the local boozer. Landlord promised to 'reward me' if I go in later.

Marvellous.

If he thinks one pint covers that I'll be fuming.

Lots more snow today, there was a heavy fall overnight. There's about 3 inches.

I went sledging this morning, and built a snowman this evening.

I feel like a kid.

mate its mentle here! hasnt stopped all day! we got a good 4" here as alot melted this morning!! and the fatherinlaw who is about a 10 min drive up the hill has about 7" and its still falling!!
made it to work and worked till 3pm!

dont think im going to go in tomorrow though!

the snowwoman had to go mate as she kept giving me the cold shoulder !

Here in Banbury, we've got about a foot or more and it's been falling on and off all day. No clouds tonight so it'll freeze solid. Can't get out of our village without a Chelsea tractor - lots of those round here but we're stuck and have run out of milk. Children not at school so I'll be walking the two miles tomorrow to the next village which has a shop...ciome and live in the country they said...

Children have had a great time tobogganing today though - fantastic.

It's hard not to love the blanket of silence that falls with snow this deep - it's as if somebody has thrown a gigantic duvet over the world. And you can hear a dog bark from a mile away - love it.

LCAB, love the tower picture - got me all sentimental for home....

Amazed though at the sheer weight that this snow thing is putting on the news coverages. It's like there is no other news.
