Don't start given it the high and mighty lad, you came on here given it loads about this small-time idea and when I didn't agree the first thing you did was say insinuate that people like me who didn't agree with you, didn't love our club's history and that it meant nothing to us. Until then, I think you'l find I was always sympathetic to your idea even if I didn't agree with it, if you look at my first post in this thread I was gonna sit in the Lower Gwladdy, coz I was willing to give you and your lot the benefit of the doubt and see what it was like.

Since that, you've told me I don't care about Everton's history, you've posted a load of outdated songs with hooligan connotations, and you've had the cheek to tell me to rise above name calling.

As for all this 'we've had singing sections forever' nonsense, when it was terracing you could move to where it was interpreted the atmosphere was, if you wanted to, it wasn't a singing section, organising an area and telling people to sit their and sing songs is beyond small time, and, yes mate, lower league.

Some of those songs you put up reek of League 2, if you wanna sing them fine, just don't start having a go at others who choose not to because they don't wanna be Stoke, Barnsley or Brighton

No Cena, you didn't come on here giving us the benefit of the doubt first. Your first post that I responded to was one you made last night/this morning calling it lower league. That is the comment I took issue with over the history thing. I stand by that.

Also, you still don't grasp what it means by a singing area because if you did you'll know that we have always had them. A group of 500-2000 (varied nos for 1960s-80s)congregating at the back of the Gwladys Street to primarily get the songs going. That is what we're doing. It's not about telling people what to sing, or even telling people they have to sing, some games have had quiet spells as the game dictates.

However, what the hell do you call that above? Is singing section the best description? Obviously not as you are misinterpreting what it is. Standing Area? Yes, a lot better but we can't advertise it as that can we? Another name perhaps? I genuinely don't know what the best the best name is to describe it (cue a profanity!).

If you don't like the songs, that's fair, Everton have hundreds in their back catalogue they are just a selection of them. As I said earlier to someone hopefully we will find some songs that everyone will be happy with.

Also, I don't understand your pre-occupation with Stoke etc? Would it be an endorsement for you if I picked say a Champions League club and told you that they have a singing area?

I said i was going the Lower Gwladdy in the 5th or 6th post of this thread, giving you the benefit of the doubt, but ignore that lad, thats fine

Can't be arsed anymore lad, am going to London on the bevvy 2mora, don't need to be wasting my time on people like you saying other fans don't care about our history coz they don't agree with you.

Just accept, no one likes you little idea apart from a minority of lads, its a failure, just give up and let lads carry on supporting Everton as normal
All the fella is trying to do is get a bit of atmosphere back in Goodison. Why be such a condescending [Poor language removed]?

I know we're never going to see eye to eye on this Cena, and I am tempted to get into the tit for tat area of this debate on what you have just put, but that is now between ourselves and of no constructive use to this debate anymore. So ok, we shall argue another day, in another thread in the future no doubt.

For what it's worth, at least you're trying to make a difference Nev. It is absolutely clear the players raise their performances when the ground is bumping, they've even said it themselves.

No we won't mate, bored of it now, i'm still goin the Lower Gwladdy for this game, yous better be loud, because the other times you have advertised the singing section you have been poor, I hadnt really noticed it being any different.

You've been lucky the stewards have let you off for standing up at games, as its illegal to stand at games, it says this on the back of Premier League tickets, i've seen it on my away stubs. If we carry on standing we're likely to see a situation like what is happening to United fans where they are having their away allocation cut for persistent standing, which would be a massive shame as it would mean fans missing out on getting tickets because they have cut our allocation.

Really hope this doesn't happen.

its just as simple as

He scores when he wants... etc

chants are ment to be simple and catchy.

when i hear the song, its boss seeing the lids dancing to it as well, just like its good seeing the poznan being done.

He scores when he wants is a crap chant, unless it's sang ironically then sometimes it's quite funny. Didn't people sing it when Hibbo scored an OG? Or did I imagine that....

I'm getting bored of it myself as well tbh, so at least we agree on something.

Must be taking the piss..

City, Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs, Newcastle, Liverpool, Villa, Sunderland, Stoke, West Ham, Swansea and most likely Southampton are teams that do/will stand at every away game. Pisses me off how we sit down.

Also.. Utd, City, Arsenal, Spurs, Newcastle, West Ham are teams (that I know of) that have a section of fans at HOME that stand up every game.

happy singing anything me like aslong as they sing,
unless were getting smashed or playing ****e.

chill in the lower gwladys like marcus colins or someone boomin it .
