Newcastle sang it 1st to us.

some of the great chants are basic and simple

Duncan...Duncan ferguson...

Oh ah cantona,

I suppose it's just opinion mate. I generally don't like chanting or singing as I find it a bit cringeworthy, bar the odd one that makes me laugh (the blame it on Eboue Arsenal chant for example).

I just like good old applause, shouting, screaming and that indescribable wall of noise when we score.

Im the same with singing, its nice to hear chanting/singing during a game tho,

Duncan Ferguson came on the pitch half time during Fulham or Sunderland, with Tony Bellow, and he said he got goosebumps when they chanted his name, so no matter how silly or small it is, it has an effect, obviously not the racist or abusive or offensive ones.

Really annoys me as well when a 6'4'' bloke sits down so the child behind him can see, really bad that

Wow.

So when we do stand.. say at Anfield, the Emirates, Etihad... doesn't seem to be a problem does it? Or the other 15 teams in the league who stand at aways?

Or how about in the lower Gwladys Street, when some games it turns out that for the majority of it we'll stand?

Obviously less young kids go to away games, and yes, the 6'4 guy will still be 6'4 at an away game.

I absolutely love singing but it all comes down to whats going on with the game. What I love about goodison is that we don't just wave flags aimlessly at the beginning of a game then sit quiet for over an hour and a half, we get behind the team when they create the right chances that builds up and really gets you going. We moan and groan at bad football but then go mental when it's necessary.

thats me ffs. im pretty good with not standing up too much during games tho, only when we score or to shout abuse at neville

Hardly any loud singers where i sit, so my chant of:

I would walk 500 miles and i would walk 500 more
Just to be that man who walked 1000 miles to see the hibbo score
Tony hibbert tony hibbert tony hibbert
nananananananana

Doesn't catch on

I would like to apologise to BNS, i was a tit. We won't agree on it but good luck with everything
