Should be winning it though, they’ve spent obscene amounts of money. It’s not really an underdog story. Should be winning the league as well, they’ve really failed there.

You have to admire, Utd, Chelsea doing it and even Spurs getting to the final with so many home grown players brought through by themselves. Norway’s success seems a bit contrived and purchased.

A bit sad they’ve had to abandon any spirit of the city or belonging. Highly paid team of assembled mercenaries, who will look at Real just as quick when wheels come off.

Their loss is our gain though, we will continue to invest in our own and represent the City. It’s what football should be about really.

Part of me pity’s them a bit, they’ve even gone gaudy on the new roof of the shed on the stand, for all the human cost of it.

We will look to our own.

You're not being a very upstanding Evertonian. What gives here.

This is what gets me. They spent more in a calendar year than anyone in the history of football. They absolutely destroyed the world record fees for a centreback and a goalkeeper. In consecutive windows they bought their most expensive ever keeper, centreback, and midfielder. All of this added to a squad that has consistently spent huge amounts on transfers, wages, and agent fees.

Then when they win one trophy in 7 years they want it to be made out as some sort of socialist underdog story.

They went out and got a very good manager and gave him Europe’s biggest chequebook and they’re all going around shocked as though they’ve just done a Leicester. Since FSG have come in they’ve had a policy of trying to buy success and in the main they’ve been a lot worse at it than their top 6 rivals.

It’s exactly it mate, they’ve spent fortunes, they should be winning it, they should have been for ages. They’ve lost more finals then they’ve won, by the balance of probabilities they were going to win one. Really they haven’t been good for what has been invested.

They’ve ensured the deck is stacked in their favor signing 100s of millions. It’s just another team, with no identity who have forgone their roots, buying a cup.

It’s the least they should be winning in the last five years, they have failed far to frequently, over all they have poor bang for buck. It’s far from an underdog story, the whole thing is financially doped and contrived.

Hang on, you mean @TheBrace was a red all along????

Yes we cost them the league title, and we will forever remind them of that.As i said in another thread.Leave them have their consolation prize. The league title, is the trophy they crave the most. And they haven't won that since, the time Nessun Dorma was in the charts.lol
