Silva and Martinez

Such comparisons are lazy in my opinion.
It’s a personal opinion. I think they have similarities....good ones. I think Silva is a stronger character and more able to develop the defensive abilities of the team what’s lazy in thinking that?

Silva will at least say something is crap if it was crap, even if he was really the one to blame. Still not pleased with how this season has gone or have any real faith in his ability, the past few weeks don't change that but I suppose all we can do is press on.

Martinez was an utter conman who outright lied every single week whenever he addressed supporters, he was out to save his own skin. He's a total fraud and no club with any sense will ever employ him ever again, least not in England.

Unfortunately, I think Silva will face what RM never had to: a successful Liverpool. That will make a massive difference for Silva. If Liverpool are champions (as I expect) then the already impatient fanbase will crush any manager who isn't seen to be making substantial strides in the table and on the domestic cup front.

If they win the league, Silva next season will have to have us right in amongst the top 6 and knocking very loudly at the door of the CL spots.

It's an unfortunate by-product of external events.

Fair point. I cannot and will not accept a successful RS team. They are an abomination.

I just hope that Southampton remember how they have been treated by that lot, VD in particular, and go in all guns blazing on Friday.
