How many players in the last 20 years you can say had electric pace.

Andy Johnson could shift, Aaron Lenon and Lukaku.

Mirallas and Geri weren’t slow either but wouldn’t say electric.

To be fair Thelwell had Minteh lined up from Newcastle but DCLs wage demands scuppered the deal. Allegedly

Don’t know how Thelwells team worked but they did seem to identify some pretty good players.

It’d be fantastic to have one genuinely rapid winger wouldn’t it? Someone who always scared the opposition on the counter and meant they always panicked when we won the ball.

Newcastle have a load of pace and are behind us in the table.its not the be all and end all. (But it would be nice to have a bit more).

Lukaku had strength and wasn't slow,but hardly pacey.
