Was hoping Southall would be brought back in some capacity, not to be I guess.

Neville tells it like it is, not what they want to hear, or to say what they want them to say, wasn’t Southall a legend who played more games for the Blues than anyone, made crucial saves that also helped us win titles and cups? Neville is his own man but his biggest fault is he tells the truth while still liking Everton as much as any of the players who have played for us.

We are millions in debt and that gets announced - not the greatest timing by the club as per - Sharpie was a great player, and probably does a great job but why a title he's already employed ......for life ... not many jobs in that category now... Look he was the highest scorer since Dixie Dean for us - how time change Dixe got a job at Littlewoods in the warehouse doorman etc - good luck to Sharpie but the announcement was ill timed when we need a team out there on the park.....

He had a job, he has been given a new job, probably with a bit more money, good on him.

The game has moved on. Would you have wanted Dean to be looked after by the club if possible? I certainly would.

Whenever a job like this became available, It was always going to be Sharp.
A yes man who never upsets the club no matter what is happening. He is an Everton legend and there probably wasn’t many on a list to rival him for the position.
I just feel sorry for the likes of Southall who wants the best for the club and questions things when they are not right, and because of this has been pretty much cast aside.
Thats BK all over though.

Sharp was a brilliant player for us and played a key role in one of our greatest ever teams.

I asked because you said Sharp was a bit like Southall, thought you meant Sharp had the bottle to say what he thinks, because what he says in public is entirely different to what he says and thinks in private, I know I’ve spoke to him many a time, but agree it was bizarre of me to think Sharp would tell the truth ( about the club) as Neville Southall very often does.

they're all on dinner break from rawk. some of the blues here need to get a life all as they do is slate everything that happens at the club.literally we could sign Messi and a squad of superstars win all kinds and they would still moan. theyre like cloned Victor meldrews. everything's bills fault even the weather. did bill sign the likes of siggurdson Schneiderlin and wave the loadsamoney pay cheques under their noses? no! he isn't perfect far from it but all as he has done is give jobs for the boys type of job to sharpie. if I could get my mate in to my place if work get him silly wages I'd be an idiot not too.

It's the continued success, European travel, endless victories against the RS, and my brilliant seat at our 89 billion pound stadium.

He was an integral part of Evertons best ever team , a team that brought great joy to thousands of blues so I can't criticise the appointment.
He also turned up at my brothers funeral and visited him at home in the months before he died.

But none of these type of club announcements have any weight anymore.
