Gay 4 Gueye

Another thread for the 'I told you so brigade' . Its happened so move on. We bought and replacement and he got injured

We shouldn't have sold him. Simple.

We were like you cant deny him a chance at cl footie.
30 million is a good price for a 30 year old.
He cant pass or contribute to our attack.

Nah our club should have offered him a pay rise and told him he not going anywhere until we find a proper replacement.

Playing DCL and giving Walcott minutes will be our biggest mistakes

hes only played 1 game for PSG against toulouse the other night. If he continues to get little gametime can't we go back for him in january on loan?

He was reportedly immense so I'd expect he is going to play more. Especially after PSG lost to Rennes or whoever it was without him.

And just because our replacement shredded his quad doesn't mean we didn't find a proper replacement. Unfortunately it's already shaping up to be a lost year for Gbamin.

If we had Gueye on Friday, DCL and Walcott still would’ve missed their open goals. Richarlison still wouldn’t have been able to complete a 5yard pass, Siggurdson still may as well not have been on the pitch.

We are going to miss him but he wanted to go. The mistake we made was not getting another powerful box to box midfielder but having two injuries in that position has not helped.
