I said at start of season we are much weaker losing gana AND zouma. those two players were two of our stand outs last season. gana is almost irreplaceable. who else plays like him, barring kante, hence why PSG pursued him.

Obviously it would have been silly to force him to stay, so he had to go and good luck to him, but the anti-Gana brigade are going to have a real eye opening experience this season I think. I always said people would realise just how important he was once he left, and now we're seeing that

Gbamin has shown some decent flashes, so he may eventually be able to fill Gana's shoes, but then again all the defensive mid haters on here will turn on him at that stage anyway
