I’m still celebrating that this isn’t the case any more

Bit of a weird comment in the first place if you ask me

Everyday that goes by embarrasses this clown and what he was actually doing coaching wise, also all the morons on here who backed the clown.
Suited Dyche's narrative didn't it. Grinding the odd point out here and there with a hopelessly talentless squad of players, keeping us up by a point or two during the last week of the season and showing how clever he was in managing such an achievement. I think he owes us fans a few quid too, having seen what was there at his disposal over the last few weeks having sat through the dirge he served us since last August with the same players.

I wonder if our upturn has form has threw a spanner in the works? If we had been losing I'd imagine he'd be everywhere going "well I told you so, players aren't good enough".
I honestly can't see how he gets another PL job. The same squad now looks a world apart from when he was 'coaching' them. People can talk about how he had key players missing, like Branthwaite then McNeil, but he wasn't bothering to play the likes of O'Brien who has come in and been great. Moyes might be a more experienced manager but it's not like he's doing something supernatural - he's just asked them to attack and boosted the morale.

I've said before that I'm eternally grateful for what Dyche did in the last two seasons, particularly last year, but I think his massive limitations as a manager were exposed this year and I don't see why anyone would take a chance on him at this level. He might get offered a Championship team looking for promotion, but if they got it, I bet they'd bin him off once they were in the Prem.

One of the greatest managers to have graced Goodison Park, with fast flowing football destroying opposition teams. The titles and cups we won under his stewardship will always be remembered…….. what ?, what do you mean this is the Sean Dyche thread, oh ffs……

Oh really? Where???

So weird that you can do this even though the premier league status will be achieved by someone else.

It is what it is. It's a survival bonus and he would argue he contributed positively not negatively to our season long survival when it happens. As fans we may argue otherwise but the fact is we were 16th when he was sacked, not in the relegation zone. If it's in the contract you've got to pay the man.
