Seamus Coleman Calls Time On Everton Playing Career

….i’d be thinking he’ll want to have a go at management, maybe with the aim of being in the hot seat here or ROI one day. I didn’t get the impression he’d be back here as a coach next season even though that offer is on the table.

I’d imagine there’ll be a few suitors interested in taking a punt on Coleman the Manager, sounds like he’ll wait and see what comes up.
Players that have retired, and some managers, all talk a very similar thing.
"It only really hits you on that first Saturday at 3 o'clock and you are not there, that's when you know".

For so many it has been their entire life, and the transition can be tough. I hope he has something lined up to help him through.

It’s time. He had almost no minutes on the pitch this season. As much as his leadership is an asset it had to gnaw at him to be essentially in the squad for his intangibles and not his ability to play football.

That being said if we’re level with Sunderland at 80’ and Moyes runs him out expect the place to tip into the river

A great servant to the club. He made a crucial difference in saving us from oblivion during that disastrous season of the Fat Spanish Waiter and Frank Lampard. It might not be as glamorous as a trophy win, but I’d say that was way more important than lifting a silver pot above your head tbh!
