Truthfully, What we all know is were skint and have to work with our talented youngsters but they even are having a hard time breaking into our first eleven. Kalou probably wants to play no doubt but he will look to a team with higher aspirations at the present time we seem to be in a time machine stuck just getting by.

If he can't look good at Chelsea he stands no chance here when he has to spend all game covering the full back.

Agreed. He gets the "Rio Ferdinand award for being the most over-rated player of his generation"...except I think most people realise he is pretty rubbish with a puny ant-shaped body and ant-shaped head

The Merseyside club have struggled in attack and scored only a goal a game on average in the Barclays Premier League this season. Leighton Baines, the left back, is the top scorer with four goals in all competitions.

Kalou, 26, has begun just two league games this season, compared with 16 appearances from the start last season, and has been unable to command a regular starting place since he moved to Chelsea from Feyenoord for £8 million six years ago. Chelsea have not offered the Ivory Coast forward a new deal and they would be willing to sell him.
