To be fair, it's mainly been us fans who's been hyping this up not Everton.
 
Yeah but it's not as if they said it and weren't even in the process of buying the player, he's under appeal (or so it's believed at the moment) so the club obviously wants the fans to see it's trying to make progress, trying to stem everyone screaming at them for a while really.

I'd rather they give us good news and not bad news all the time. Lets be honest that site is not been the bringer of good tidings really.

Well they tell us and the world who they are going for. They also tell us about 4 players Moyes wants to sign, but then add in that he wanted them last week, but it hasn't happened. Then he says he will definitely get a centre half, at least one. Will he? Has he? No and I can't for say for sure that he will.

Basically saying that I would prefer the club to say nothing unless they have cast iron news.
 
From Toffeeweb.....We understand that the work permit application for Ever Banega, who played last night for Valencia in their 3-0 Europa Cup win, has been rejected. Speculation is that it may be granted on appeal...
 
I really don't see how the club informing us of their transfer activites is the same as them as broadcasting on the website "We're thinking about getting Ever Banega but we're not really too sure"

Well yeah half of it is just waffle but in this case it is atually newsworthy i think.
