Royston Drenthe

As far as I see it, we qualify for Europe - he stays... We dont and he's off.

The way we've been playing lately has to be an encouraging sign to Drenthe, Pienaar & Straq (plus any other potential new players)

More worried that Straq may not stay on if he's on the bench behind Jelavic for the rest of the season after just coming good.

I don't think he will play Tuesday, i think moyes will opt to try and contain liverpool and hope to sneak a goal. i think we will see pienaar and coleman on the wings and wouldn't be surprised to see neville at centre Mid.

I will be gutted if we let him leave at the end of the season. if we can sign him and pienaar, and with barkley coming through. Next season could be interesting.

We won't sign pienaar either.

Spurs will wont more than we sold him for, and why would he want a drop in wages?

If he wants to play football he'll have to, any other club and he may so no, we'll see if he still loves us he'll force through a move, could also depend on who's their manager

I reckon Pienaar will start ahead of him in the derby, and I hope he does. I do heart Roy but he has "early red card" written all over him here..

You mean Coleman will start ahead of him? Dif sided players, them. While Drenthe is a colorful player I think Coleman has as a big risk as Drenthe has to get sent off in the derby.

I like Drenthe a lot.

Really hope we keep him, but just can't see it. If he's crossed Moyes in the past he won't forget it, and we know where players end up if they cross Moyes......

.....Leicester.

I'd love to see Drenthe start.

Yes, it's a risk due to his temperament but tackles will be flying in all over the place and Drenthe is the guy who is just begging for players to lunge in at him so he can do them.

He's really strong despite his small stature and he plays with a lot of spirit. The Liverpool players will be breathing a sigh of relief if he's not in the starting lineup.

This is Moyes though and safety first and having hard working, defensive players on the pitch and hoping to sneak a goal will be his priority. I'd expect Coleman and Pienaar to start on the wings and he'll bring on Drenthe around 60 mins if he wants to change things.

I want us to go to Anfield and take the game to Liverpool.

I'd love it if we played Straq, Jelavic and Drenthe.

You wouldn't want to be a Liverpool defender if they were all playing.

More likely scenario though is Cahill + Jelavic, + Coleman on the wing with Drenthe being brought on too late, when we're already behind.

I want drenthe to start but I want someone to sit him down and drum into his head not to get sent off!! We need him badly for the cup game.

I really wouldn't blame moyes if he didn't start him tho... Surely he's got to have 1 eye on the cup game.

As said tho he is the type who could draw a late tackle of a Liverpool player... Not that they will see a red card but u get the point

Have I missed a game? Did Drenthe get sent off for us? Why is everyone so para he will be the one to get sent off?

He got sent off against Chelsea in the league cup and he could have been given a straight red for Kung-Fu kicking Micah Richards in the groin after the ball had gone, as well as being sent off against QPR.

But Coleman's just as hot headed so I don't know why people are acting like Drenthe would definitely get sent off and Coleman wouldn't concede a foul.
