He's out of contract at the end of the season, mate. While it's a gamble of sorts he is our #1 creative outlet who'll only get better when he gets a run of games under his belt and he's only 24 so if it doesn't work out he'd still command a decent resale value.

hmmmmmmm, i kind of know what you mean but he is just what we need- you can see how much he has progressed. RR is becoming more disciplined as he gets more game time. just coz he takes on a player too much doesnt mean he is beyond redemption. one of his strong points is running at players and hes got the best shot on him since wilf naylor graced a park. i would make RR our top priority for keepies

Yep. We don't buy anyone anymore because we're spending all our money on keeping Felli and Baines and a few others at the club. Adding Drenthe and possibly Pienaar would probably have us headed into the red.
