Club legend sign him upI’m just watching The Overlap, and Rooney has just said he’s not against going in and being an under 23 coach. Surely Everton is the right place for him to do that?
I guess the problem is that just because you have the talent, it doesn’t mean you can teach it.The best finisher to ever graduate from our academy, seen and won practically everything. Our academy should be moving to secure him and help the next generation of finishers, god knows we need it.
Lampard springs to mind also. Couldn't understand why players he coached weren't at his level. Rooney (and Lampard) both offer great analysis imo in pundit roles because they're smart with football, but they also have it come natural to them. I'd rather they both stayed away from coaching.I guess the problem is that just because you have the talent, it doesn’t mean you can teach it.
It was always so raw and instinctive with Rooney that I could imagine him finding it difficult to articulate it to others.
I’d have him in. The lad bleeds it, would mean more to him bringing through the new crop, and who wouldn’t listen to him?
Unlike his tracky. Think he enjoyed the Plymouth nightlife a bit too muchI haven’t heard any. Seems like a perfect fit to me.
You think he's in any physical condition to be showing the strikers how to play football?Striker coach for the 1st team maybe
Was rather hoping he could offer advice and tips on how to score goals. Not sure he’s in any fit state to compete with the lads in a bleep contestYou think he's in any physical condition to be showing the strikers how to play football?
