300k for 5 years. Lol how deperate are man u. As soon as Suarez got 250k of the rs. I knew Rooney would want more. He took the paycheck over everton which always an option. Stretford will be telling him efc will have u when your 32. Sorry for starting this thread.

i've always said he'll be back here for one season when he's in his 30s and i predict he'll be sent off 3 or 4 times in that season

Footballer chooses money over old team shocker.

Chaps, it's £300k a week he is going to be offered. Crazy sums.

This. He'll be at Chelsea, and regardless of how one feels about his motives for his initial move, no one can fault him for choosing this.

He's left with the lingering feeling of dread whenever his mind wanders to ponder what might have been. In my opinion, he suffers from this far more than any of us, because he knows that he alone has decided not to fight for Everton, he must bear the brunt of the guilt. I understand why he would never turn down a chance to earn 300k a week at Chelsea, all the same I don't envy him for being in the position.

His decision of course. But he can never really call himself an evertonian again if he turns down the chance to move back to us after winning and earning what he has so far in his career.

Who is anyone to question Rooney for signing a new contract for £300k a week. Let's be honest, he was never going to come back while he's still in his prime years and able to command that sort of money. On the other hand, if he does think he can come back to Everton when he's 32 for a swan song, he can do one

Makes no sense at all to stay at Utd either way, even if he doesn't come here he'd be better off going somewhere else from that sinking ship. Either he's very badly advised or he really is as stupid as he looks

think they're only a sinking ship with moyes there tbh.

they'll always have money to fix things.

This thread really does depress me.

There's delusion, there's gullible and then there's this.

It will be a sad day if he returns - he'll return on his terms, which will be when he's well past it. I hope we've progressed as a Club to not need him when that day comes.

but mate, what if he is boss, and he still loves everton

I don't think it does make people delusional and gullible tbh. People who are close to Rooney have said many times that he'd like to return one day (as has a highly respected poster on this forum) . That's where this thread has stemmed from, however unlikely it is anyway.

I agree with the last bit though. If he wants to come back then he should come back when he is of some use. Not when he's past it to appease his conscience and whatever is going on in that potato head of his. Jib that.

we have moved on from Rooney seasons ago , if he was to come it will be a few years time, he wouldn't
get in the side as he be to old. the days of Gazza, Ginola, Mark Hughes are long gone forget about him.

Jonah Hill has revealed he was a paid a fee of $60,000 (£36k) for his role in The Wolf of Wall Street.

The actor added that his co-star Leonardo DiCaprio, who also produced the film, earned about $10 million (£6.2m).

The Hollywood star said on The Howard Stern Show in the US that he was paid the amount "before commissions and taxes".

He explained: "They gave me the lowest amount of money possible."

Hill says he agreed to take the low pay because he really wanted to work with director Martin Scorsese.

"That was their offer and I said, 'I will sign the paper tonight. Fax them the papers tonight. I want to sign them tonight before they change their mind. I want to sign them before I go to sleep tonight so they legally can't change their mind'."

"I would sell my house and give him all my money to work for him," he insisted.

Jonah Hill and Leonardo DiCaprio Leonardo DiCaprio (left) was paid $10m for movie "This isn't what you make money for. You do 22 Jump Street or you do other things, and you can pay your rent.

"I would have done anything in the world. I would do it again in a second. This isn't about money. You should do things that you care about," the actor added.

The 30-year-old recently revealed that he hated his character in the film.

He said: "They say you're not supposed to judge the character at all and I tried my hardest, but I couldn't really find that much I really liked about Donnie.

"I just didn't like the way that Donnie treated people, that was the thing I had the hardest time with."

Jonah Hill has been nominated for an Academy Award (Oscars) for the film as best supporting actor.

The Wolf of Wall Street has also been nominated for four other Academy Awards.

So, the moral of my story is we should sign Jonah Hill.

It's true. You get more happiness from things you do that make you feel proud than you get from accumulating more wealth than you could ever spend without wasting it.
