Roberto Martinez discussion

I'm not sure why you're playing the victim here, I just made a simple reply initially to a negative post.

It's an open forum people respond to all sorts without a eritten invitation you can choose not to respond or even use the ignore function if it suits.

Did I not say Dougie give it a rest and lets move on? What is so hard about that?

Yep. 4 points off the bottom 3 and if we lose these next 2 could well be in it.

Complacency has an annoying habit of coming back to bite you in the arse.

We could be, but we'll have to see. We could win 4 points from the next two games and things would look a lot brighter....that goes for any club from Newcastle down.

We really have become a lot of entitled fear mongers recently.

We can all agree to disagree about who and what is to blame. What we can all agree on is that 3 points on Saturday will make us all feel 100 times better and set us up for the derby. The players have to deliver from here on in, as does Martinez and his staff. Let's hope this mini "break" has given them time to clear the air and we start to show what a good side we are because on our day, I would be looking at 7 points from our next 3 games but we need to be bang at it.

It's strange isn't it, like certain posters are taking a perverse enjoyment in us not doing well.
Yep. All to be proven right about the manager they never liked in the first place.
Even if we got Alan Pardew or Harry Redknapp in I'd still want them to be successful, because as a natural extension of them being successful, Everton is successful too.
All this point-scoring over Everton being crap and talk of betting against the team that you support is just straight weird.

That is garbage tbf. No-one wants Everton not to succeed whoever the manager is. It keeps getting wheeled out as an excuse to have a pop at people someone disagrees with.

I never said people don't want Everton to succeed, it's just very odd how everyone was eating humble pie last season but as soon as we've hit a minor sticky patch the naysayers are quick to call for the managers head.

Who exactly are these people who were eating humble pie ? His appointment was overwhelmingly welcomed by the fans, both those that were for the previous regime and those who were against it.

1 win in 14 and sliding downhill is more than 'a minor sticky patch'.

All this talk of people eating humble pie and naysayers calling for the manager's head is straight out of Davek's 'everything must be seen in black and white terms ' book.

Most of us are somewhere in the middle.
