True, I was just saying that people used to bash Moyes for saying "first target is 40 points", it is and always should be.

Martinez said he wanted to get more points than last season and now we'll struggle to get 40 points.

But difficult imo to compare moyes and Martinez's second seasons.

Moyes took a relagation quality team and excelled with them to a good finish. He then struggled the next year with still a relegation quality team.

Roberto took a team that at worst should of finished seventh and got 5th. His second year is a potential relegation battle with a squad who should be fighting top 4.

Our success/defined end/aim is and has been for some time Premier League survival. The high end finishes have gilded it a bit, but the club is not equipped for anything grander than that - for reasons that are obvious and financial (.

We will still finish in the top half. Not great, but not a 'relegation battle'
