toffee matt
Player Valuation: £60m
I think he has to win the derby tbh.
Martinez is obviously making a few mistakes at the minute.
But I'm just going to throw this out there for discussion.
Do we over rate our players? Maybe they're not as good as we think they are/should be?
We've seen them be good. But all players have off times. And some don't get good again.
Not sure I think that but worth a discussion.
tbf it's only damon that calls Naismith world class.Nah mate its only kopites who over rate their players.
Besic really is world class. Naismith really is world class. Lukaku really is world class. Lucas really is world class. Coutinho really is world class. Barkley really is world class.

I don't think we will be anywhere near relegated mate. My hunch is more to do with a couple of things
1. I don't think the board will be such a soft touch with him and will point to the likes of 28m cheques being made as a sure sign that they expected better. He's the first Everton manager in a long long long time to have money so there is a lot of pressure to bring success die to that.
2. If we continue to play this sideways and backwards football, slow with no end product, the locals just ain't going to have it and he will find out in no uncertain terms that it isn't acceptable. It already started against qpr. In fact it's always been there lurking in the background but when your winning everything is rosy in the garden.
He's had more money because the revenues of the club have increased by £30m a season. The board had to give him the cash to spend, Moyes would have had the same. Lets not make out like he's had special treatment.
Bit special giving him a new contract after 1 season to be honest.
We had far worse periods under Moyes, anyway. 2009-10 season we went on the following run in all competitions:
DDLLLDLWLLLWDDLDD
Won two games between October the 4th and December 26th. By comparison our form over the same period this season:
LWDWDWDWWLWLLW
And yet some would have you believe this is the worst we've ever played and we're going to get relegated. Madness.
He'd just gotten the club to their highest ever points total in the Premier league, something which the moan brigade on here seem to be forgetting.

Better being in the moan brigade than the deluded brigade dudeHe'd just gotten the club to their highest ever points total in the Premier league, something which the moan brigade on here seem to be forgetting.
