Everton haven't been this dismal since the Walter Smith years...

I said after we lost to Reading in the cup that it might be time for Moyes to leave and I still stand by that. He's lost the will and ambition which made us so dangerous to other teams and so good for us fans to follow.

Yes, he can still eke out those draws and 1-0's which mean we won't go down, but that is also only an indicator how poor many other teams below us are. If we go on a bad run we might even find ourselves scrapping with them.

And think of the fans! The football is awful. 29,000 at Goodison...I don't remember many sub-30,000 attendances at Goodison. Everton Football Club is incredibly stagnant right now, and we can't always just blame the frankly ridiculous state of the finances, after all we still field quite a few internation-class players and our manager is one of the highest paid in the league.

Our players aren't that bad, either...but they just look uninspired, without cohesion or even the old spirit.

Change the manager after the season has ended, and we fans might enjoy watching our team play football again. Time for a good headhunter to find us a hungry, ambitious and adventurous tactician from the Championship or more likely from abroard.

It doesn't mean he is fit enough for 90 mins though or that he is up to match speed. We've rushed several players back from injury and about the only one that has done well is Mirallas and tbh he has extensive experience of coming back from hamstring injuries. This is the first serious injury of Stones career and, if Barry's performances after his ankle ligament injury is anything to go by, a tough one to recover quickly from.

Don't understand why he wasn't give 15mins or so at the end mind when the game was lost anyway.

I would rather Stones was 100% fit than rush him early. Still 20+ games to go

It's frustratng and I need to sop coming on here as the knee-jerkiness is getting too much. Genuinely think half the lot on here now believe that every Moyes signing was Seamus Coleman 60 grand and we played brilliant football. I mean, a bad patch of form and the toys come out the pram. i also think most teams have strengthened pretty heavily and we have just stayed still - especially the mid-table lot.

Ha read thecomments from the 1-0 loss to Fulham in the 2012/13 season. Or the 6-1 loss to Arsenal a while back.or 3-0 to Wigan in the cup. I blame Martinez!

Martinez was a disgrace today and hopefully he knows it. No point trying to sugar coat it. Fed up of his pathetic post-game comments which, quite frankly, are laughable. If Rodgers came out of with some of the rubbish Martinez does we'd all be laughing our arses off.

Lol @ the author of that post.

Ok so it was tactically spot on and poor defending of our 18yrd box.... Ok Bobby!! Whatever!!

I could list every player playing out of posistion but what's the point!

I have always been a big supporter of Martinez and really wanted him to be David Moyes' replacement. Today, I went from being his big supporter to being neutral on him. He just seems clueless at the minute. Sure, certain players are having shocking performances, but Martinez's inability to see that his set up his wrong, his tempo is wrong, his tippy tappy go nowhere football is wrong , make me somewhat concerned.
