@Dithering Dougie is looking for some new followers. He went on a fishing trip recently and it didn't go too well for him so he's looking for some new friends as only his multis showed up.

Make your own opinion, change your mind when you want, don't be afraid to challenge the perceived wisdoms surrounding a midtable outfit. Don't let this place grind you down.
Oh mate.

But theres not really been a point this season where I was worried we are going to get relegated. And I understand that we have a REALLY special group of HUGELY talented young players who could do something amazing if they are able to stay together for a few years. What worries me is if we dont do something fast, they wont stay. And we are back to square 1.
.

this.

As has been said by others in different threads our bench for the past 2 games (arguably most of the season) has been predominantly the senior pros which I think is wrong for many reasons.

A mix of experience and youth on the bench, yes, the former to change a game / see a tight game home, the youth could be brought on to gain experience e.g. Villa 2nd half, Sunderland last 15 mins.

We have some many talented youngsters coming through, it would be nice to see them given an opportunity rather than another Osman swansong or others listed in the 'who should we get rid of thread'.

Robles replaced Al Hasbi as Wigans number one for their run in after they knocked us out the cup, he conceded an average of 2 goals a game. He's one of the reason Wigan got relegated really.

The semi final will be Martinez most pressurised game ever, the cup final for Wigan was a free hit and in reality so were his relegation scrapes. Nobody ever expected little Wigan to stay up for ever and nobody gave them a cat in hells chance against City so he could stay loyal to his players safe in the knowledge he'd be the good guy whatever the result.

However expectations and desires at Everton are completely different and he's not going to send out a deliberately weakened team against the best side in the country in a semi final. This is his one shot at really achieving something that will make people sit up and take notice, it's the launchpad for his career. He won't throw that away on a gentlemans agreement or blind loyalty he'll be ruthless and play his best and strongest team available, which as well all know means Howard in goal.

Robles was magnificent in that final. Pretty much man of the match.
Dont let that get in the way of a good story though.

Bit of journalistic licence there mind. He chose us over Bournemouth it seemed to me!
But that's just one player. You have to take it as a whole. Martinez has been the difference between not securing players like Lukaku, Deulofeu, Barry and McCarthy and not securing them...and also persuading those who do want to go to stay (Stones, Mirallas).

More a swing at the Echo mate. You know my stance on Martinez.

Biggest PL points total for Everton
Signs world class players
Makes others into world class players
Turned us from hoofball to the most attractive team in the country
On the verge of our first final for 6 years
Agreed yet only wins 17 in 52. Pathetic really given the talent at his disposal.
