Roberto Martinez discussion

Really the problem is that the fanbase has been saturated by lads in their twenties who have grew up with football opinion on 24 hours and FIFA Career Mode. As a result they behave like "most knowledgeable fans in der werld" but follow the wrong team.

Sad to see for Evertonians trying to hound out a manager that's trying his best to build something that will compete and is sustainable because of its young age. Not just sneak a fourth place with low points total then get smashed when they try to step up.

All based on a draw away from home and being unbeaten in five games.

Sometimes you get the club you deserve and sadly with these educated maggots in their twenties we will turn into Newcastle buying overpriced rated footballers from abroad who are boss on FIFA so these same fans can celebrate outside Goodison on 1st Sept. Any self respecting blue wouldn't be caught up in that circus.

The geordieisation of our fanbase. That's why we vault you.

Anything other than standing off the opposition and inviting pressure. I commented on the west ham game when Jenkinson took the ball from his own box and managed to run the full length of the pitch unchallenged and got a shot off at Howard.

Add in players letting players get shots off outside the box against us (Mccarthy at West Ham, Kone yesterday, Barkley against Chelsea) it's not good enough. I was never confident of us winning anything under moyes as he didn't have the attacking nous to do it, I have the exact same feeling in regards to Martinez but with his defensive nous.
I remember the Jenkinson run, it was an isolated incident rather than symbolic of a wider problem. On the contrary you can see a combative midfield at Everton which seldom allow such runs to happen.

So basing your analysis on that is unfounded and then shaping it to fit and agenda is misguided.

Ancelotti would not come here. What are you basing your Koeman suggestion on?
How do you know he wouldn't come here? He has said he wanted to manage in the Premier League again and a few seasons ago he was linked with the Aston Villa job.

I think he has Southampton playing a lot better with a squad than is less talented than our own.

Koeman has had one good season in the league and it still wasn't as good as martinez achieved in 13/14. Don't see why he is rated so highly

I like Koeman he lost half his team last year and rebuilt it and got top 6. He then lost another 3 of his best players this season and is still only a point behind us. It's like us losing Stones, Lukaku, Barkley and Mccarthy and then getting Top 6 the season after, would be very impressive in those circumstances.

Look at who Anclotti has managed. He's only ever been at clubs at the top of their respected divisions before he's gone there and had the ability to spend all kinds of money.

We've been playing boss footy at times this season. And we're ahead of Southampton. And battered them once already this season.

I'd say he's got a fair point. Bournemouth got a load of shots off in this area and were running past our midfield for fun in the second half. We've suffered in similar positions v Watford, City, Spurs, United and West Ham. The problem is we have a collection of players who can do a few things well each but seem to have to cover for each other a lot. Kone is creative but has zero defensive nous or stamina, equally Barry is controlling the passing game but has zero pace or mobility. McCarthy is making up for it with his relentless work rate but he has no creativity. With Martinez's teams what you are seeing is once one domino falls the entire midfield seems to capitulate as seen last season with a couple of injuries and as seen when McCarthy went off.

Respectfully how old are you and how long have you been watching Everton?

Southampton only came up a few seasons ago and have sold almost every player of note. We should absolutely be ahead of them having kept our best players and had managerial stability. The reason we are close in the league is because they have been ambitious twice with their managerial appointments.

Don't see what that has to do with any part of my post. If you think we're pressing well, say so. The evidence this season and yesterday would suggest we're not though.
It matters because I want to prove my point above. It matters because your analysis of the current Everton is out of line with the reality. It matters because the type of points you bring up are symbolic of the profiling I done before.

So I want to see if I'm right and by your refusal to answer it I guess I am.
