I just don't rate the manager as much as some on here, had moyes been in charge yesterday he would have been slammed for that capitulation and rightly so. I'll praise the manager and players when they perform well but equally ill slam them when they put in gutless displays like above. Exactly. Martinez is a director of football. He's done amazingly to bring this squad together but he is not the best coach to use them. If we finish midtable and allow Lukaku Stones Barkley and Del to leave the club without winning anything here that will be a disgrace.

I mean last season when we went 12 games without a win I can understand the frustration, but the level of bile being spouted after an "unlucky" draw yesterday is almost reaching fever pitch.

I just think without Europe we should be much higher than where we are. Effectively for the sides without European football to contend with (us, West ham, Southampton and Palace) we are below 2 of those and only a point above the other, despite us probably having man for man the better sides out of those maybe apart from 2-3 players (Payet, Mane, Wanayama, Bolasie, Cabaye).

We have the 2nd top scorer and the 2nd top assister (Rom & Del) yet will probably be 9th come the end of today. Leicester have the top scorer and sat in 3rd by perspective, we should be doing much better and for me it's the complete lack of defensive nous from the manager/no desire to press the opposition when off the ball.

Tbh think we can mix it up quite a bit although counterattacking probably suits Lukaku the best so what is wrong with playing to his strengths - seemed like people spent half their time last season moaning we weren't!

Thats still my biggest gripe. They just stand off their opponents and wait for them to give it away.
