This whole thing shows how badly our club is run.

Watford are close to sacking their manager and they're one place below us and in the semis. WATFORD. No disrespect to them, but if they're unhappy and looking to make changes, how have our board not done it for our club weeks ago?

Our board are happy to exist. Big Blue Bill is everything that's wrong with Everton. Disappears when it's going wrong, but his massive fat head appears on tv when we win. He's got no balls, he's got no business sense. The guy is a shambles.

Can only hope Moshiri is ruthless when he finally takes over.

Roberto shouldn't be even getting a chance to travel down to Wembley as an Everton employee. It sickens me that it's going to happen.

I think Kenwright has a lot to answer. It's an absolute joke now. Best thing for everyone is that Martinez leaves his post now. The players have been sucked dry of all confidence, the fans have lost all hope and Martinez is a beaten man.

It has reached the stage where keeping Bobby on is doing him no favours.

His reputation as a football manager is diminishing with each passing day.

And his health must be taking a battering.

I have messaged the club asking for him to go. Before Saturday if possible.

If a few thousand others do then it may happen.

I've submitted my request for him to be sacked...

I'm starting to wonder what it would take for him to get the sack. If we get knocked out on Saturday and he's still in charge, what would the fans have to do to make sure he gets the sack? It wouldn't be pleasant if goodison turned on him and chanted for him to get the sack but it wouldn't surprise me if it got to that point.

Wouldn't surprise me one bit if Kenwright made Moshiri promise to keep Martinez till at least the end of the season as part of him coming on board.

Or, as part of any discussion on him leaving, Roberto agreed to a lower setlement in order to have a chance at the cup. If he knows he's going to be job hunting this summer the cup makes his CV look a good bit better.

It doesn't even look like we're going to get the proverbial "We back the manager" from BK & Co, like you do from clubs when their manager is under loads of pressure.

Does anyone else see this as a slightly encouraging sign - the fact that there has been no backing the manager statement, in fact the silence is deafening! Could it be, and may be I'm just grasping at straws here, that the wheels are in motion already to get him out? With Esk's posts about discussions with other managers that have already taken place could it be Martinez has already been told he's gone and to tow the party line until after the semi final, at which time it will be announced "by mutual agreement"!
He's lost the players and I suspect the vast majority of the fans now and I'm in no doubt that Mr Moshiri knows this to be the case! I reckon he's gone after Saturday!
Meanwhile that doesn't stop me checking Sky Sports News every half hour hoping for the "Everton sack Martinez" breaking news headline!

Exactly this, his whole staff are way out of their depth. I understand Kenwright giving Martinez a chance. The first season was a fluke due to the transition. The 2nd was a disaster with the squad he had. This season was similar and he should have gone before xmas.
This is becoming cruel to watch, its like an animal that needs putting out of its misery. I hope he masterminds an fa cup win, it would be great
if he moved on afterwards with best wishes.

Yeah I could see there might be a gentlemans agreement to let him have the semi. Don't deserve it mind, but i could see it.

I had a dream a couple of months back that we were getting beat at Goodison and the fans had enough and started signing "Oh Davey Davey Moyes".

Got me thinking, even if we don't all agree on Moyes coming back here, how could the board not sack Martinez when 40,000 fans are singing another manager's name?

Whether it shows enough "ambition" shouldn't matter. Just consider the atmosphere of Moyes' last game in charge compared to Goodison now.
