Now time has passed i guess the one thought i have from last night is this.

We all expected the result, we expected to get beat and none of that a suprise. but why did it have to be so bad? It was pretty much the worst performance i can personally remember seeing. there was nothing there in the performance, so many things already listed in here that was wrong, losing players through injury and whatnot, no spirit or any indication that they turned up to turn things around.

I don't care if we lose a derby, i'm more than used to that over the years. But why do we capulate so badly like we are some no mark team? we did it last night, we did it 2 years ago, we did it under moyes (the 3-0). we have done it pretty much most years going to anfield, its just depressing to think about. Why of all games do we suffer that? At least at highbury or stamford bridge we can put up a fight and try, why the derby do we constantly turn these performances in, and why out of all these run of 5 games so far did martinez have to deliver his team to do that?

Sorry for stating the obvious but he has to go NOW! If we want any chance of winning on Saturday we need someone else ANYONE ELSE in charge. Big Dunc could just see things out until the end of the season. At least we'd see some passion from the team.

Are the board hoping he'll resign? Do they think it'll be too chaotic to sack him now?

Only the media and pundits would say something like that mate, not sure why as when its Man Utd, redshite or Chelsea they are baying for blood

They should be listening to the fans and every Evertonian I have spoken too wants him gone TODAY even the ones who were pro Martinez before last night have turned.

Do you really go throwing someone with no managerial experience whatsoever into one of the biggest games in the club's recent memory? Have you seen what happened to Neville at Valencia?

Whatever you say about Robbo he has brought them to the Semi and should lead them out in my opinion. Let the axe fly at the end of May but it is fruitless doing so now.

It's one of those nagging issues isn't it? In no way could I see the survival of the board if Moyes was brought back. There's just way too much hostility it would be futile, but the way he is still the bookies' favourite for the job and his name is constantly being mentioned, I'm starting to fear there's no smoke without fire!

I'd accept him until the end of the season in a caretaker role. Don't think that is necessary though as there are people at the club who could fill in.
He can sod off up to Celtic after that.

Yeah none of that is true.

Robles wouldn't throw his gloves at the manager. Kenwright isn't picking the next manager and we aren't going to be too arsed paying compensation out for the good of the club.
