I did call this yesterday. The move just didn't make sense to me from Napoli's perspective.

They do have a rather good midfield mate. And he couldn't play in the EL. I agree that he would have found game time hard to come by unless they had a number of injuries.

Some players improve after season 1.

If you want more examples, I have them:

Jamie Vardy scored 5 goals in his first season in the PL.

Kevin De Bruyne didn't exactly set the world alight did he?

There are many instances where players fail to settle at first.

I'm with you on Tom Davies, he deserves patience. The same patience you aren't affording to Davy Klaassen.

Because physically I don't think he's up to it.

And it's not about setting the league on fire it's about being able to play in the league, which I can't see in Klassen.

Minutes played - every one of them proving how poor he is for this league. He's suited to the sloth-like Dutch league.
