According to SSN web site, Everton have not made a bid for Elms, Fulham have had a bid turned down and an un-named Dutch club.

Now Citeh have declared there interested!! Kalmar FF must be rubbing there hands. His price has gone up maybe £5m overnight!!

*I rather suspect that flaming torches are out and Arabian scimitars are in.

A man in the know on the bus told me that davek has been practicing his swing for when the glorious day arrives and the Militant Tendency Taliban renourish the sacred soil of Goodison with the blood of the unbelievers. So if you spot a man with a tea-towel on his head swinging his kid's plastic sword around Kirkby, you'll know it's no word of a lie.

They'll make a documentary about it one day: Death of a Forum

Sound's like the lad has his head screwed on! But the fact he's taken 3 weeks to decide whether to join Everton says it isn't gonna be us he joins.

Elm also suggested Everton remain in the running for his signature, adding: "I want to join a club where the coach gives me big confidence.

"I got a good impression of (Toffees manager) David Moyes. I don't close the door to any league, but the Premier League is more tempting than the Eredivisie.

"The overall picture is important, but the biggest club is not necessarily the right one for me."

Elm attracted by Prem pair 03 August 2009 - 1:25 PM | Sport.co.uk

Swedish midfielder Rasmus Elm has admitted that he is flattered by interest in him from a number of English Premier League clubs. The 21-year-old Kalmar FF star has attracted interest from both Everton and Manchester City and Elm seems to prefer England to the opportunity to try his luck in the Netherlands.

Elm told Sportbladet: "City have spoken to my agent. It's both fun and flattering that a big club like them show interest in me.

"I don't feel that it is negative that many clubs come to watch me. It's just a boost, as it shows that I am on the right track.

Someone better let him know the chances of getting into that Citeh team are slim to none.

He'd probably play against Arsenal 1st day of the season if he came this way.

I look at those comments as positive says he liked what he heard from Moyes, liked the club - the lads right he should be considered in his choice.

All sounds tickty boo to me.

I would much rather we signed this guy who has played European football and tournament football at a high level, than Delph who has so far only played in the lower leagues.

According to the Guardian today "Moyes hopes to sign Rasmus Elm for £4m from Kalmar FF". Great - so how about now we make a bid for him then !
