Prepare for the incoming bad press...

Just to clarify: Martin Tyler at one point said he was having to turn the sound effects up to hear the crowd which was non sense. He was also being really negative about Everton all the way through the game.

Neville at one point said he was 'bored'.

Never heard commentating like it.

Within the first 10 minutes Tyler was going on about Liverpool too and their long wait.

It was utterly terrible commentating.
Utterly strange this.

The coverage by NBCSN in the U.S and the commentary team today were very very complimentary towards both teams today, many times. Lee Dixon said at one point that it was a wonderful game to watch. NBCSN have done a superb job this season at covering the games.

I have just finished watching the match off Sky+ and cannot believe my ears.

The wife came down four times to tell me to stop shouting. I can't type what I was shouting because I am on a warning from Mr.GOT for bad language but I am sure you can guess.

Anyway, Mr. Tyler is a complete idiot. I was there and his comments were a mililon miles off the real atmosphre

Yeah I was surprised how good the atmosphere was.

Take a look at Skys coverage of RS v City. Tyler's bias was staggering. The massive penis.

Nowhere close to today's debacle. I was shocked by the disparity. It bore absolutely no relation.

The BBC got it spot on IMO:

There were no scenes of revelry at Everton's defeat - and its ramifications for Liverpool - from own fans but it did not appear to be a loss they would linger too long on, especially when they reflect on such an outstanding first season in charge for Martinez, who was given a loud and prolonged standing ovation when he reappeared after the final whistle.

Not sure if said but one of GOT's tweets made its way to the huffington post.

If Sky are to condone their commentators criticising match-going supporters, then perhaps they should schedule more convenient kick-off times.

cracking point tbh. why have a game like today as a late kick off where the away team don't have to travel far, whilst having a game like soton vs everton as an early kick off? they had cardiff going to sunderland for an early kick off last week as well. i know it's BT as well as SKY, but the principles remain.

If anyone is giving you stick please feel free to point them in the direction of this.

This

For those who don't realise, that Steaua Bucaresti flag is a reference to when Steaua won the 1986 European cup (now Champions League) the very season we would've been huge favourites to win it had Heysel not happened. That flag is basically saying 'Hahaha, we (Liverpool FC) got you kicked out of Europe when you had your best ever team, hahaha'

I know people have relatives and friends who are from the red side but blues need to remember that shower don't deserve any respect from Everton. Stand with them over Hillsborough (not that I'd expect them to do the same if it had happened to us) but otherwise they're no different to Man Utd or Chelsea. Just an arrogant so called big club supported by morons and plastics

Their destiny is their own design. If they have to rely on others to write it for them, then they don't deserve the title!

I never went yesterday as I'm open an honest enough to admit I wouldn't have cheered everton scoring an that wouldn't sit with right with me. Gave me ticket to one of the lads. What right does anyone have to tell us how to react to a game that will leave that shower winning the title.

That hate us much more then we hate them, they just hide it. Do you know they walked a banner round Celtic park yday thanking there fans for there support during Hillsborough. Yet they havnt managed a word to there neighbours over the park in 25 years. Apart from some cardboard gesture that half there fans refused to lift during you'll never walk alone a couple of years ago (John Aldridge, sorry Aldo, called are fans a disgrace for not standing in silence during it.)

They wanted the world to remember Hillsborough victims during the city game and weekend (and rightly so) yet couldn't find the time for a bunch of flowers for the Bradford fire victims anniversary on the day of the Chelsea game. They are so self obsessed it's untrue. So if please god they do lose it and Martin Tyler, Thommo and everyone else want to blame us for it then good, they've blamed everyone for everything else that's gone wrong in there history so why stop now.
