Prepare for the incoming bad press...

Basically that the players have not turned up and the fans are silent. The club needs to " look at itself"

EFC should be all over this. The new communications director shouldn't be allowing this type of commentary on EFC to go unanswered.

Someone get onto the club and see if there arsed that the clubs name is being dragged through the mud live on Sky

Can bet your life the RS would be all over this

Just to clarify: Martin Tyler at one point said he was having to turn the sound effects up to hear the crowd which was non sense. He was also being really negative about Everton all the way through the game.

Neville at one point said he was 'bored'.

Never heard commentating like it.

Within the first 10 minutes Tyler was going on about Liverpool too and their long wait.

It was utterly terrible commentating.

From a post @BoysInBlue made yesterday (can't find the actual YouTube link): a pair of Kopites openly cheering on Chelsea to deny Man Utd the title in 2010 (i.e. the same game where Stevie Me gifted a back pass to Drogba).

This needs to be shared in the comments sections of all the Kopite-infested papers to expose their utter hypocrisy.

The transformation of Gary Neville from self professed Scousers hater to RS cheerleader has been astounding.

I can only think he has been told by Sky to show them some love.

Couldn't care less what the media agenda and hacks say. These days, with social media and well educated public having their views aired, their control and influence is dwindling with each passing year.

I know we played well today with an understrength side and with very little at stake for Everton football club given the earlier results around us. Not even the most optomistic of fans would have expected to overhaul a 4 point gap on Arsenal. Had we won, a fully focused Arsenal would wipe the floor with West Brom.

Great season for us. We targeted a return to Europe and have done it in style.

If it was the RS, Tyler's postman would have a bad back compo claim due to excessive bullet carrying.

Looking forward to their exposé on how our 5 England internationals so loathe the RS that they threw the last home game in a World Cup year in front of the manager.

Only Ossie would be a shock inclusion for Brazil, and he played his socks off.

If someone had woken up from a 30 year coma and gone along to Goodison this afternoon, they'd not have been able to tell you which side it was with a shot at the title.

My personal opinion is no matter who ur playing or what it can effect, when that first ball is kicked the crowd should be right behind the team, an we weren't and tbh I find it embarrassing i'd under stand if it was Cardiff or Swansea but this was a big team rolling in to town and our last home game, in our best season for 4 years.

oi lad, what you got against the welsh? why should it be any different for man city or swansea in your opinion?
