Agreed his news conference showed it all. I doubt he we continue the way things stand. Can't blame him really.

Really? After all we've done for him. We gave him a platform to make a name for himself, Kenwright has stuck by him when he quite rightly should have been sacked and now he's going to quit. If that's the case then good riddance, we don't need a manager who doesn't want to be here.

Personally I think it's a combination of both Moyes and Kenwright, both have let us down badly. Hopefully they can get the players we need and improve.

My predicition, 1 of them will be gone by Sept 31st

September 31st you say. Ironic that such a date does not exist. Sort of sums up the relentless negativity.

Today wasn't that bad, loss was caused by schoolboy defending, the one area which hasn't been weakened. Lescott needs to take a long hard look at himself if he thinks his best position is centre half with that kind of error.

Like to think any one coming in could make a real difference but listen to Moyes lately he is telling us in a round about way anyone he rates for us the other clubs aren't willing to part with. We let go to many bodies thinking our position from last year could snap up some pedigree. Then it backfired on us. Not really blaming any one individual but simply we don't fully understand what been going on behind the scenes and now most fans have had it. Today was a culmination of just a bad patch for us all. Will it get worse? it will if players continue to play out of position because of injuries and selection headaches. I've coached to long to not pick up on this.

That's funny. Have you ever swapped jobs? I mean, the first company that gave you a job gave you the chance and all..

To be honest he's annoyed me of late but it would be a disaster for us if he went. Let's face it, he's the best manager since Kendall the first time around. Let's hope he and Bill can back on good terms and they can turn this around. There certainly seems to be a strain in the relationship. We all know that Davie has the potential to be the dog's bollocks when the going gets tough.

COYB!
I think Dave will walk,He had enough of Bills waffle I hope not as its Kenwright who is badly letting everyone down and its sad that he can not see it.If I was Moyse Id stay because we must be getting to the point Bill sees the light,:(

And if Moyes walks the next one will be some hopeless tosser in the Bruce mould, because no-one else will take the job :(

On the other hand he had a similar transfer budget at Bolton..

But no, I don't want him, not at all. I don't want to see all those past-their-sell-date players at Goodison. And the style of play under Allardyce is absolutely appaling.

Are there any obvious replacements should Moyes leave? I'd certainly rather chain Moyes to to Goodison than have someone like Allardyce run Everton.

First of all I don't believe Moyes will walk, he has to much respect for the fans and the players. I truly believe that something is going on behind the scenes, and it will not only be Moyes' future on the line, but the clubs.

Second of all, I don't believe we lost the game today due to lack of signings. Spurs made loads of signings and still lost to an average Boro side.

We lost today because the players made glaring mistakes, I'm actually quite relieved that they have been spotted today - Moyes has time to get them sorted out. Its also worth noting that if Baxter had held his nerve and managed to score when it was harder to miss, and if the linesman had done his job correctly, then we wouldn't be so downhearted. The team Moyes put out was good enough to beat Blackburn, just poor decisions at crucial moments.

Now I never went to the game as I had to work, but I listened to it and just watched the game on MOTD, and it was pretty obvious why we lost.

But we need to move on, accept it and move on. I'll be very surprised if Moyes walks, but if he does he does. We still have a good side, great youth academy, and possibly the consequence that Kenwright may well be ousted.

On a weird note, when I heard the third goal go in, I went back on to the restaurant floor to take payment of one of my customers and her name was Kenwright. Weird no?

The lads behind me was saying that moyse was going man u in two weeks.

i say they can [Poor language removed] have im !!!!!!!!!!!!!

GoD, I'm sorry, but the first half performance alone was enough to warrant defeat to just about any team in the Premier. We were very, very lucky to be drawing at half-time.

We lost because we didn't have a midfield. Yes, Lescott and Neville were poor in defence, but they shouldn't have been exposed so badly in the first place.

Spurs lost but they still have a much better team on paper. Plus their team is obviously still gelling together, after all they had three new offensive players in their lineup.

If Moyes walks, what chance we can find another manager who can make a team over-perform like Everton has in the last few years?
