A rather pointless point but with Carsley in the side, we'd have not lost today - Yak would not have had to concede that free kick
Thought the defence lacked confidence without the protection in front of them, evidenced by Lescott's poor performance.
Rodwell showed promise, as did Baxter (even more so).
On the bright side a great goal by Arteta and a wonderful cross also for the Yak's goal, so perhaps we'll see a great season from him.
We knew how difficult it would be yet still showed in the second half we can compete, mistakes notwithstanding.
Disappointing but not disastrous

I want the signings as much as anyone else, but until the end of the window we cant make any serious claims against the chairman or Moyes. If Moyes doesnt have much cash to spend, well, sorry to say, but too bad, too sad. We'll have to buy cheap players that'll make up the numbers and be average additions.
