Arsenal: He created Osman's goal.
Bolton:He created Fellaini's goal with a cross.
Spurs: He didn't get the goal for some reason, therefore he created it.
West Brom: Saha's goal, he knocked the ball into his path.
Manchester City: Gosling's goal.
Sunderland: Fellaini's goal, a cross from the right hand side.
West Ham: Saha's tap in and Yobo's goal from the corner.
Fulham: Osman's first goal, last game of the season.
Boro: Saha's header.
Aston Villa: Cahill's header was scored from Pienaar's corner.

That's eleven, ten if he gets the Spurs goal. Which he didn't to be fair, for some strange reason.

both claim him to be top of the pile. i think that is his reasoning for better terms in his contract.

Arsenal (A): Pienaar gets the ball on the left hand side and crossed for Osman to score. 1

Bolton (A): Neville lays it off to Pienaar who crosses for Fellaini to head home. 1

Spurs (A): Pienaar didn't get given the goal so he obviously created it by smacking the ball onto Corluka. 1

West Brom: (H) Neville hoofs one up field, the defender clears, Pienaar wins a 50-50 and guides the ball into the path of Louis Saha, Saha bangs it in the net. 1

Manchester City (H): A cross from Pienaar from the left hand side, great finish from Gosling. 1

Sunderland (A): Pienaar's low cross from the right finds Fellaini who side foots home. 1

West Ham (H): Pienaar goes past his man and lays it on a plate for Saha. Yobo scores at the back post from a Pienaar corner. 2

Fulham (A): That great disguised pass to Osman, last game of the season. Osman goes around the keeper and scores. 1

Boro (H): Pienaar's cross from the left hand side is headed home by Louis Saha. 1

Aston Villa (A): Cahill scores from Pienaar's left sided corner. 1

I count eleven, in detail. Ten in the League and one in the FA cup.

I don't care anymore, no amount of stressing and worrying on my part will make us sign or release or improve anyone's contract so I give up.
Every summer is the same pile of poo, watching and waiting, when will I ever learn!:(

“It is seldom that both parties come to an agreement at the first attempt,” Pienaar says. “Coming to such an important agreement takes time. We have only just started discussions and we will keep on talking until hopefully we get a deal that is right for both parties.

“The fact that it is taking time does not mean I am unhappy at Everton, but this next contract for me is obviously very important at this stage of my career. I would like to play Champions League football again and hopefully that will be with Everton.”

I hope he includes, "Club to sign a player" in his contract.

Come to think of it, I remember this story surfacing not too long ago. It was under a "Pienaar wants new contract". I remember that the agent confirmed that there had been no discussions from either side about contracts, so nothing could be on the table.

I think its mischief making on behalf of the paper, or simply a reshash of the same failed story.
