He got the ball but his studs followed through over it, this day and age that's a no no. Also he was the last man. Clear red card if the ref deems it a foul which he did

Can't be a clear goal scoring opportunity if the defender wins the ball. Total horsecrap decision added in that the ref allowed the free kick 5 yards closer to the goal. Ref had a mare.
 
We can debate the colour of the card or even if it was a foul until we are blue in the face, but the fact is the man let a perfectly weighted pass run across him under no pressure on the edge of our box.

We've put up with it for far too long, simple mistakes in games in which we are comfortable costing us points. Jags has been a top servant to the club but it's time we started being ruthless. He's 36 next week, he belongs in the Championship.

That's football for you now days, even when you get the ball if you get the man aswell it will always be deemed a foul

Difficult to disagree. I thought red was a tad harsh. But as you say....Jags had a shocker in that instant. No doubt about it. Cost us.
