it has to be said.
He's now left at possibly the most perfect time, handing over to any youngster who wants to take his place while having imparted his knowledge to the next gen.
The corner flag dance, the goals, the commitment. We should be glad he was on our team and not against us, because if someone else had got him, he woulda sh*t on us regulary.
We should look back on his time as the building block to what could be our greatest ever side, and hopefully not look back in a few years and wish we still had someone like him.
Thanks Tim. You won't get a testimonial and you won't get your number retired. You didn't hang on well past your prime to get a cash bonus and a pat on the back match. You spent your prime years at the team you learned to love, and this humble fan will never forget it. Even though some of of here have the the memories spans of Goldfish, there will always be old Macca, remembering the days when we had one of our own, a kid from the suburbs on the other side of the World dreaming about playing on the grandest stage.
