Hope Mirallas is fit for Wednesday
i can see an arsenal hammer everton scoreline again the way we are playing and how wenger likes to tot up cricket scores against moyes at times.

Yes, I agree, but I'm pretty sure last season Cahill was pushed up alongside Jelavic, so I'm not sure how far we can take that explanation. He cant be isolated, that's for sure.
The other thing is that he's missed some glorious chances. It's ok saying 'ball to feet', and all will be well.

I don't really recall too many. He seems to get about one chance a game.
Isolation is definitely a key point. For years we've seen our lone striker put 10x more emphasis on the word 'lone' than 'striker'. That was the case again today, but is that his fault? That's surely the system we play or perhaps -- probably, in fact -- the midfielders around him. The support today was slower to arrive than a Phil Neville floaty cross.
15 + in the onion bag come May, no bother!
Breaking up the balance of the team isn't going to help too much either...which I'm 100% convinced Moyes did in sticking Jagielka in at RB rather than an injury to Coleman forcing his hand.
Aye. That was truly baffling. I mean if you're going to put a CB at RB, why choose the only one who's had a consistent, good season? He's got a hard on for defensive rotation, which is confusing as all of our great defences under Moyes have been based around pairings of CBs who played week in, week out.
Don't get me started on the subs either -- or lack thereof. If you're going to insist on an aerial approach against a massive armada of grock tw*ts, don't go with a single, isolated striker surrounded by weak midgets. It's not like we had a 6'3 striker on the bench or anything.

I still think he'll get 20, once we get playing to his strengths and he gets a few he'll be on fire!
Hes capable mate but I think 15 is a reasonable return, you always have to figure in regression IMO with an Everton forward due to the system we play - we've seen it with every striker under Davey.
The interesting dynamic this year is coming from the hole, Naismith has been prolific given mins and Mofro goal return is stunning we've clocked almost 10 goals already from that position to put that in context I think STC best return for over a season was 12- we've almost got that from the position already - Mofros on for 15+, while I fancy a sneaky score on Naismith getting 10+. Either or both would be an amazing improvement and return.
But how is he at defending corners?
Wise words there mate. Have to agree, in all fairness as well 15+ this season would be good for Jela. He needs a full season in the premier league to really get to grips with it and know how to handle not scoring in it, gives him vital experience really.
Look at Suarez at them lot, came in January and was outstanding for them. Last season he was still good, but not as good because it was his first full season. And look at him now, unfortunately, he's just unstoppable and will score 20+ without doubt.
