Nikica Jelavic

He's worrying me. I don't mind the lack of goals as that can come down to a bad run, but his first touch is appalling and his movement is all wrong too. Doesn't look half the player he did a few months ago. I'm beginning to fear he has a touch of the Yakubus about him. Hope I'm wrong.

As for Moyes blaming Coleman publicly, that really is ridiculous. He's setting his stall for a Neville move to right back when Gibson returns.

Dont know about that mate. Fellaini played behind Jelavic a lot last season and Jelavic scored for fun.

More Cahill tucked in behind, surely? Tim was picking up the pieces off Jelavic. Seems the other way round this season. Also, because teams can see the damage he can cause they're maybe dropping a bit off him and not allowing him to play off their shoulder as much as he was last season.

Second season syndrome + a subtle change in personnel around him = struggle to find form.

Think he will be fine mate. Going through the motions of a normal striker. They have bad patches and he is having his now, doesnt worry me to be honest.

He is playing disappointingly and wasting chances, always seems a half second too slow, I couldn't believe he missed that chance when he was played right through on goal today (and they somehow got a goal kick for it). Sure the defender was tight on him but that's the sort of finish we expect from the man...

I like him though, seems like a cool guy.

Agreed. An absolute shithouse trick.

He might be disappointed about Coleman's momentary lapse, but we're disappointed about his 11 years in charge without a trophy. He'll just have to deal with it as we do.

Moyes has form for this.

I try to justify it by saying, maybe he knows their characters better than us, and maybe Coleman needed a bit of dressing down.

Just adding some balance here.

I remeber he slated Beckford for his miss at Sunderland, yet backed Saha when not scored in 27 games !!!

Maybe Beckford was a cocky [Poor language removed] and needed the public knocking.

Jelly is deffo missing the service of darren Gibsons slide rule passes as are our wide players - PN needs to be dropped captaincy removed as soon as possible - he was to blame for the 1st goal just like at QPR he came in that late on Berbatove is was embarrasing - Coleman impressed me today besides his error he was close to MOTM tormented Fulham as a great display at wing back all day till those stupid substitutions - DM has to take a big decision over our captain, he has to go onto the bench sooner than later!

Steady on lads. He's gone 3 games without a goal.

He's got 4 league goals this year in 732 minutes... which is a goal every 93 minutes. Hardly a poor start to the season and hardly a major goal drought.

I'd love to get off me barnet with him and go on a bender in Crotia, courtesy of him like cause i'm skinto.

Bad form, a goal or two would do him like.
