Nikica Jelavic

Unfortuantly it was impossible for him to play like he was for ever strikers are either in form or out of for and right now he's out of form, no need to worry.

People had unreal expectations over this player. We need to look at his form over time to determine what we have. He's a good player alright, with a poacher's instinct, but time to rein in the OTT pronouncements.

I thought he was poor today compared to his usual high standards.
Vs the murderers, he did alot of work for the team, today he sorted of drifted in and out of the game.

Who would you have playing there instead of Jela if his poor form continues?

I think Mirallas is too good a playmaker to waste up top and Naismith isn't a clinical finisher but has alot better ball control. I think the only real option that does not negatively effect any other positions is Anichebe.......thoughts? .......................Jela has been poor for a few games now........he should have to fight for his place back..........Same thing happened with Saha when he had no competition.

He's going through a period of bad form which all strikers go through. Plus 4 goals in 9 starts isnt bad at all IMO. He'll bury a hatrick next week.

Anichebe looked pretty good to me tbh, and has done since the back end of last season. If Jelavic's form continues as it is (I personally don't think it will) then Anichebe should be given another crack.

Also notice he used to tell the lads what to do by pointing where to put the ball and demand the ball, this season, he pretty quiet, need to come out of his shell.

He may not be on top form but he didn't hide, continues to make his runs and looks very frustrated if he doesn't get possession in the box - nothing to worry about at all

The fact he was subbed & all their defenders piled forwards to get the late equaliser sums up how hard he works - I was so upset when Dm came on RM phone in blaming Coleman & never mentioning his stupid substitutions - naismith missed a complete sitter for 3-1 but no just blame a young player who had no outlet had a great match for their equaliser - disapointed with DM on that point - we again drew a game we should have won - Victor would have scored the Naismith chances if fit!

Agreed. An absolute shithouse trick.

He might be disappointed about Coleman's momentary lapse, but we're disappointed about his 11 years in charge without a trophy. He'll just have to deal with it as we do.

This season he's maybe crowded out with Fellaini being the prime focus of any service.
