I think Jela is going through a bad patch. All strikers do so I hope its temporary. His ball control was poor from the beginning and his overall play was lacking. Lets hope he gets back to the way he was as hes a class act

Spot on. Just because someone says he was bad doesn't mean that person doesn't rate him, he was awful today. I'm sure he will make up for it next week. There is nothing wrong with our chance creation, we are scoring plenty, our defence is the weak link at the moment.

Jelavic just needs to stay in the box when we have 1 striker upfront. Get the crosses into him and he can score.

He doesn't have enough pace to get the ball around the half way line and do something productive sadly, still a quality striker though. But you could tell today in the second half he struggled, as we didnt have enough people getting forward

His link up play was poor yesterday. I think it is average in general to be fair. He is a top quality goal scorer though and will get at least 15 goals if not 20 this year.

Second half lpool played 3 centre halves, sat deep and stifled the space. He got not decent service apart from the one chance he should have scored from in 2nd half from free kick.

I have no worries about jelavic. He will have games like this.

He has seemed a bit off the pace the last few games... However, he's still working hard and making space for others with clever runs. I'm not worried yet, still think he's quality and more often than not if you give him a chance, he'll slot it.

Lacking sharpness, which is what his game is all about. I actually think he's hiding during games too, were creating chance after chance, he barley gets on the end of any. If the Jelavic of last season had been on the end of Naismiths chances, we'd all be happy now.
