New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

i do wonder as well re attendances if this could become a national trend as purses are stretched

football attendances have been massively improved since the pandemic with people desperate to enjoy live events

but we are in a recession with real wage stagnation and rising costs and interest across all areas: rent, groceries, amenities, entertainment

i wouldnt be surprised if attendances started to fall across the board
The club are sending out reminders to FB members to apply in the ballot for the Leeds game.

That sounds a bit desperate to me and most will wait now for a resale ticket if and when it suits them.

Unless we get into Europe next season the need for ballots isn't there. It needs to go back to general sale.

Looking forward to reading all the posts from the majority on here admitting that they were wrong to get their knickers in a twist about the club not building a 60k+ stadium.

Any minute now...
Were people wrong? Nobody said we'd fill a 60k stadium with a crap team and old-school manager.

I'm pleased it's less than full at the moment. Why should we fill it when treated to hammerings by Spurs, Newcastle, and Keith Friggin Andrews.

Of all the stands, the West Stand almost always seems to be the one with the highest number of empty seats within it, even when accounting for that stand largely consisting of hospitality spaces which may not fill up anyway.
I'm in Village st. Doesn't take much for loads to go downstairs for a bevy and a warm,
Its all paid for so people think "I'm getting my moneys worth"
The wasted drinks at half time is ridiculous, just greed

Yes they need to get rid of the ballot

Do a first sale for say 10+ credits prior season

Following day paid members (ideally just having an account and no fee but they’re not giving that up so easily I imagine)

Third day general sale

Get to choose your seat and higher likelihood possibly of getting none next to who you want to go with

Prices need reducing too, they certainly cannot go up

I can understand wanting to take as much from the hospitality experience as possible, after all the supporters have paid hefty amounts to take advantage of the benefits which those spaces have to offer. Having said that, it does not look great when you have supporters going into these hospitality spaces when the match is on and it is disappointing to see when I would like to see as many people getting behind the team as possible. When you ignore the hospitality spaces entirely, there still seems to be quite a few empty seats in the West Stand in the spaces near the corners. I have noticed this on a handful of occasions this season.

Get rid of the ballot and have a flat membership fee of circa £25 should be acceptable for non ST holders.

There need to be a balance between improving our commercial venues and developing a future supporter base for the long term.

Making ad hoc ticket purchases expensive and hard to get hold of /transfer will kill off potential support.

The season ticket renewal take up will be very interesting.

Prices cant go up after the slop served up so far at that stadium.

On the sale of tickets: yes, there defo needs to be a reduction in the number of days between them first going on sale and then general sale. People waiting the best part of a week to try and get their hands on a ticket just because they're not a member is wrong.

I went to the pre season game v United in Atlanta and they do 'fan first' pricing thing on the food and drink, everything is dead cheap and based on selling more stuff overall as fans are more likely to buy at a lower price, we got a refillable coke for $4 and some brisket sandwiches for $6 which were top drawer, the food at HD is a racket tbfView attachment 339120
I think the Phx Suns do that as well.

A mate went to watch Orlando Magic. $21 plus tip for a large can of beer!
