I think Goodison was a horrible place for the top teams to go and as you say, we haven’t had any success against those teams at Hill Dickinson yet but we had some really poor results at Goodison in recent years too, Watford winning 5-2, Luton winning twice there a couple of years ago etc.Won 4 out of 10 at home which is pretty standard for a mid table side. Fulham and Forest were good wins but we were probably second best against Brighton and Palace on the day but they didn't take the chances, Palace should have killed the game off. 4 defeats is a bit disappointing but more the fact that we've been well beaten by Brentford, Newcastle and Tottenham, it's been game over about about an hour. Against the big 6 (and Newcastle) at home last season we only lost 1. We've played 3 this season (including Newcastle) and lost them all.
We've done well enough away under Moyes so it's partly his agricultural tactics working better away from home where we can sit in and counter. Although home and away record identical now this season after 10 home and 10 away. But Goodison was a horrible place for away teams to go, away teams are enjoying themselves now.
And at full time paper towels in the toilets, not good enoughHalf time in the South Upper they had somehow ran out of Bovril, steak pies, coffee, Bovril, hot chocolate and milk haha.
Players didn’t helpCould hear a pin drop for most of the game.
it is a practice exercise in response to the Bradford City fire where fire escapes were unusable. Itsfor our safety, I can ignore it on that basis. What on earth is the need for the “safety exercise”. Never hear at any other ground and it is highly irritating and looks amateurish.
me tooI got there at half two and was in my seat within ten minutes.
It was fine.
My brother had one at half-time from the waterside bar (large bar) in the South Upper. Thanks, I'll have a proper look tomorrow.

First time I've heard it at the new gaff, but was always unnecessarily prominent at Goodison. When opposition fans are taking the piss out of it, you know it's not normalit is a practice exercise in response to the Bradford City fire where fire escapes were unusable. Considering the history of football disasters linked to this city, the local safety board are quite strict on precautions, including safe exit.Only other ground I've heard something similar at is Anfield though. Not that it overly bothers me - just curious as to why we're the ones to have it.
Don't think I can get up there from Lower West (South side), will just have to go to the gated part.My brother had one at half-time from the waterside bar (large bar) in the South Upper.
