No it wasn't I was stuck like many others no one is making it up ...I was there 235 and there was a massive backlog so bully for you being fine...
They seemed to have a big push on the "under 14s must be with an adult at all times" message today as wellI started going by myself in 02/03 aged 11 and it literally was just in and out for me at the match. Don't think it'd be possible with the transport now to do that.
The home form this season is no worse than the last few seasons at Goodison, one more win and we’re level with last season’s win total at Goodison.
Definitely more checks going on today, there must've been a raised alert level or somethingMaybe I was there at 2.35 then mate and not half past but the queues to get in the dock wall at that time were certainly not fine. They were a joke.
It's the first time I've seen it like that so I'm not saying it is the norm but they ramped it up today for some reason

Sorry if you had a different experience but I was through pretty quickly with no issue.
There’s more than one gate you know.
You’re absolutely right of course, but I badly miss going to the Winslow for a few and then over the road to climb up the to the top balcony.People just look for any fault with the ground when we lose.
It becomes boring.
Goodison was never a fortress for games like this.
I got there at around 2.20, and it was noticeably busier than usual and slower getting in. The security at our gate were on a go slow.Getting in today was the worst I've known it. Getting through the dock wall at 2:30 the queues were horrendous, never seen it so bad. The metal detector single file thing is a farce. Does any other stadium do this?? Even when it goes off they don't actually search anyone, the whole thing is ridiculous.
It's the goals we are conceding though...........Spurs. Newcastle and Brentford.......... THAT is Shocking. The home form this season is no worse than the last few seasons at Goodison, one more win and we’re level with last season’s win total at Goodison.
Who’d of thought we’d feel at home so quicklyHaving a season ticket this season has been a largely miserable experience for me.
