New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

the lack of saturday (or even just daytime) games definitely having an effect on peoples enjoyment (as are results)

think back to brighton and villa, and then later likes of palace, fulham and forest

full days out (if that’s what youre after with your match day) enjoying town and the surrounding boozers, or home at a reasonable hour if just going to the match

and a chance to establish some form of routine , where to go beforehand, what food you like in the ground, figuring out a pattern and what time to leave your house and what time to enter the stadium

recent fixtures just haven’t allowed that. everyone rushing from work/school and then having to shoot off after, and the results have been shocking

hopefully no more monday nights or evenings after united and burnley

a real shame sky have somewhat butchered the match going experience in the first year of the stadium. Three Saturday 3pms out of 19 (liverpool and city very likely to be moved and sunderland is a sunday unless they make the cup final) is a travesty

and outside of brighton, those theee were the best experiences at the ground for me

Only the second time I've been and I love the place. Obviously got emotional ties to goodison but with Bramley I prefer the location, the walk down, the view and the experience in general. Everything apart from having to see various sauces on scruffy gets faces with the increased food options, would stop selling food entirely if I had my way just to prevent witnessing repulsive habits.

Getting sick of seeing cryarse toffees with their click bait nonsense stories whinging about the place.

This feels like a personal attack.

Fans can make such a difference, like between 6 and 12 points or even more of a difference over a season.

If I was TFG, I'd be saying "Right, all you away fans that actually have the balls to create an atmosphere once you're all together, you're all being relocated to top of the South Stand, and if you don't like it then we will revoke your access to away tickets", which might also put an end to the practice of 70 year old blues getting access to all the away tickets and then passing them on to 21 year olds that are perpetually unable to get the same credit history that has been afforded to the 70 year olds.

Definitely this, I was looking back on the highlights of the Brighton game, granted it was a sunny Sunday and our 1st game at our new home but the noise, singing etc was a joy

I’ve already decided I’m done,I’ve been to the new place it’s great, yeah it’s not Goodison with its ‘istory,it will take games, incidents to create the memories but it will happen over time but the fact you purchase season tickets and pretty much every game gets shunted is pretty scandalous, last season was nothing like this although it’s been happening for years now,it just crazy, never thought I’d feel this way about Everton,if you’d told me a few years back we were playing on the moon at midnight I’d have got there,so maybe it’s just me growing old,I just hope whoever gets my season tickets are worthy Evertonians and deserve them,it’s not as it was in the old days you can pass them on to family,it’s all this be a member lark😔🙄

I think it is bad timing for us, I recall the EPL having a big fanfare about having lots more games being televised this season, the drawback is more games are then moved, and moved to more crap times. Its bad luck for us as it coincides with our first season at BMD

Ground is definitely still waiting for it's big lift off. There's been some decent moments in games. That 5 minutes after we scored against Leeds and prematch against Arsenal felt like it was getting somewhere.

Think we do need a big win against United or Liverpool in the coming months to really reassure ourselves we're capable of bringing that Goodison atmosphere to the new place when it's needed, and yes we all know it was flat there 90% of the time.

No, please don't give up yet.

I’m also most likely to be giving up my season ticket end of season.

I’ve been travelling up to games from the South for many a year. It’s a 540 mile round trip for me, and there’s no thought or consideration given to the match going fans anymore.

I love Hill Dickinson, and have enjoyed the games I’ve attended.

But I’m completely fed up with hardly any Saturday 3pm’s. For me to travel 540 miles on a Friday night, Monday night etc, just isn’t possible anymore.

And worst part is, the club couldn’t care less. I’ve been travelling up for over 25 years.

Prices are only going one way, and as for the train service/ prices with Avanti, the words to describe them I can’t use on this forum.

Then add in the appalling VAR, sub standard referees, pretty much non contact sport it’s come too…

Very sad it’s come to this, but I’ve had enough.

You would think the club would be making some representation on behalf of fans about the number of midweek evening fixtures. Yes I am aware that TV has the say but that does not mean our needs should not be considered..

Unfortunately all the clubs agreed to this because they wanted the money. At the time the Premier League heralded this TV deal as record breaking but in reality they had to offer up much more live games for TV to get a deal they wanted.

What will do they do when the next round of talks take place?
