New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Was there lettering on the seats in the original designs ? I can’t remember
I think it will change / upgrade along the way. Wouldn't be surprised if we did some work during the summer.

I agree with the interior, it looks bland and cheap.

It's an easy fix and I expect not too expensive. Though I'm sure we are doing some changes anyway. Like new toilets etc

The stadium needs Evertonising inside, its just too bland. All it needs is blue and white on the concrete bits and Everton on the seats, i know you can't see Everton on the seats when its full but an aerial veiw of the ground with our name on the seats would make me feel its more like home.
We are customers, not fans. I have mentioned this before but even the “stadium” in the letters is thin in comparison to the Hill Dickinson branding.

Says it all, and why we had to fight tooth and nail for some flags and a tifo for the fans to get involved.

It needs somthing
Absolutely mate. I don't mind a little exposed look, but ours looks very incomplete or just very cheap.

Might be co controversial, but I quite like the interior at Man City's, co-op live.

I went there to see Elbow when they first opened up. Was a dark blue, black interior with loads of stalls lit up. Looked smart and I've always thought it would suit us

Yes, im leaning towards the Davek and Brian+ thoughts regarding the stadium i must say.

Why not give it one more season, please (for me). :)
I just think with Moyes staying which I think he will and yes I know he’s done his job no worries of going down this year but I just think it will be rinse and repeat with people saying wait for another 1or 2 windows and it’s just about stabilising this year etc I’m like some of the others who have posted hated this year and hate the product of the premier league as what it has become with VAR etc how embarrassing was the combined officiating at Villa yesterday just a joke.

It’s all just abit crap really isn’t it , hopefully it is just teething problems ,

The club have hired a stadium operations company and as far as I can see they pretty much signed the governance of the facility off to that third party, who have been handed the task of screwing cash out of it using any means necessary to get revenue and pay down debt.

That means, in practice, people with zero feeling for this club who couldn't give a shiny one about our traditions and culture call the shots on what way the stadium is presented and used. They'll fight every step of the way to take care of the wishes of corporate clients who sponsor the stadium, so anything that deflects from the projection of the names of those clients will be at best vied suspiciously and at worst opposed.

I bet the 1878 lot could tell a story or two even at this stage about how they've had to have anything they've managed to get into the stadium banner / flag-wise thoroughly vetted. It makes for a very sterile match day for Evertonians.

The media love the stadium; the construction industry love the stadium; and for those in marketing the stadium is the cat's pyjamas. That just leaves the fans who are the ones feeling non-plussed by the whole thing...the people who use it most and will end up paying EVERY SINGLE PENNY that the stadium cost.

I've said it umpteen times on here that a reckoning will come and when it does there'll be huge fall out.
